Safe2Say Something

Safe2Say is a federally mandated report hotline that supports school and community safety across the state of Pennsylvania. The program teaches youth and adults how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, from individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and to “say something” before it is too late. Reports can be made to Safe2Say anonymously, and their line is open 24/7. Students, parents, school staff, and community members can make reports via the Safe2Say app, their website, or by calling their hotline. Tips should include detailed information so they can respond with the appropriate assistance.

Safe2Say is to be used as a tool to aid in student and school safety. Parents and students are still welcome to report information directly to the school if they feel comfortable doing so. It is important to note that anyone who submits false or fake information to Safe2Say may be criminally charged, especially if the information disrupts the school day. Our administrators will be notified of every tip that is submitted that pertains to our school, and in serious cases, emergency services will be contacted.

Parents/Guardians, we encourage you to discuss this program further with your child. Please check out the Safe2Say website and download the app to your phone.
